Design Phase

During the Design phase of EDPS's "Program Development Process", we perform additional
research and analysis on the information obtained during the Assessment phase, with the overriding
objective of designing a program that meets your specific business needs. The resulting program
design includes the following components:
-
Pricing Proposal:
At the heart of our innovative program design is EDPS's industry-leading pricing. Competitive
pricing is critical to a program's success (or failure). Our extensive industry experience and
strategic partnerships allow us to pass significant pricing advantages on to you and your merchants.
-
Launch Strategy:
The method (how) and the timing (when) of program implementation are two critical components that can
have an enormously positive impact on the success of a given program. EDC professionals work closely
with you and take great care in deciding upon the method and timing of launching your program.
-
Promotion/Communication Strategy:
Targeted marketing, co-branding, inside and field sales re-enforcement of program benefits are just
some of the ways we're able to continually communicate the benefits of program participation to current
and future program participants.
-
Enrollment Strategy:
For an endorsed program to be successful, it is imperative that your merchants enroll and utilize the
program. Through the use of our METS system, EDPS is able to dramatically improve the efficiency and
accuracy of merchant enrollments, which enables faster program implementation and better program
participation rates.
-
Program Management Strategy:
Our METS system also facilitates the periodic measurement and reporting of your program's performance.
By measuring the success of your program against the goals established in the Assessment phase, we are
able to help you make sound business decisions in order to continually improve the program.
In addition to the above steps, our Design phase includes a description of each party's "Roles and
Responsibilities" for implementation of the designed program. The success of the designed program
depends largely on both party's commitment to faithfully execute their responsibilities. EDPS considers our
relationship with you to be a strategic partnership, the value of which is greatly enhanced for both parties
when communications and expectations are straight-forward and mutually understood.
